EPIROC GROUP ACQUIRES MINING TAG A CHILEAN COMPANY

Epiroc, a leading partner in productivity and sustainability for the mining and infrastructure industries, has acquired Mining TAG S.A., a Chilean company that provides sensor-based solutions to enhance safety and productivity in mines by making operations smarter.

 

Mining TAG, headquartered in Santiago, Chile, develops and implements sensor-based solutions that enable monitoring, automation, and process improvement in mining operations. The solutions are primarily used in underground mining.

 

The company's solutions include MT OneMine for increased productivity and MT Guardian to enhance operational safety. Mining TAG operates in several Latin American countries. It has approximately 120 employees and generated revenues of approximately USD 7 million (SEK 65 million) in 2020.
